Kenku are an avian race from Dungeons & Dragons. Commonly based on corvids and standing around 5 feet, kenku were robbed of their ability of flight and speech by an ancient god. Kenku have the ability of mimicry, able to piece together voices and sounds they have heard to communicate.

Kenku first appeared in the Fiend Folio sourcebook for the first edition of Dungeons & Dragons and have made numerous appearances since then. In 2012, kenku became an official playable race in the 411th issue of Dragon magazine for the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons.

Not to be confused with

• Aarakocra, another avian race from Dungeons & Dragons, but these are capable of flight, speech, and can be based on other species of bird.
• Tengu, a loose inspiration of kenku.
