Two Beasts or Not To Beast (Japanese: Haruki no Saidai no Teki wa Risei. TWO BEASTS OR NOT TO BEAST!!, translated: Haruki's Greatest Enemy is Reason) is a Japanese-language visual novel by Dangan and Niyatoki/Toki (tokinokogiri).
The story revolves around Haruki Tagokoro attempting to set up a date with Kasumi Yumeura while resisting temptation from his amorous stepmother Madoka Tagokoro and stepsister Anne Tagokoro, all designed by Dangan.
Various supporting characters by other artists appear throughout, offering their own alternative endings if found in the right time and place. Some are returning characters from other media, indicated by parentheses.

Plot/Gameplay

Haruki awakens to a message in his group chat with Kengo and Kasumi. Kengo reveals that he has caught cold and will be bedridden for the duration of their study group. Following that, Haruki decides on cleaning his room and preparing for a study date with Kasumi, setting himself a list of goals in preparation.

The player is scored based on how many of the goals they've completed over the day, and how well. The goal of the game is to optimize your time throughout the day to maximize as many categories as possible, while avoiding temptation from the girls at each location.

The "Dream Lovers Collection" DLC adds various alternate dating simulation routes that continue from each heroine's "bad" ending.
