Hair accessory refers to one of two things:

• A type of fashion accessory designed to be placed on top of a character's head, or in their hair / pseudo hair.

• An object serving as a fashion accessory, but not necessarily designed to be one. Accessories of this type are placed in a region where a character's hair would naturally be. Accessories may be attached to fur, feathers, metal, or even ambiguous body textures. Artist liberties make it possible to fix anything to a location where hair should be without the need for a character to have hair.

Sometimes accessories are depicted over headwear in a way that mimics the usage of hair accessories. This is more common with characters that are recognized for always wearing a certain outfit, and the outfit is usually tied in with the identity of that character.

This tag doesn't require a character to have hair to be used.
This tag also applies to objects that resemble characters (doll, plushie).
