Goombette is a female Goomba appearing in Super Mario Odyssey. She is also the only non-hostile Goomba to appear in said game. She can be differentiated from other Goombas by her pink body, wide-brimmed hat with a bow, and distinct blush and eyelashes.

She appears in many of the game's Kingdoms. If Mario approaches her while capturing a Goomba, she will become romantically charmed and award him a Power Moon. If he approaches in his normal form or aims a Sherm's cannon at her, she will panic and vanish in a puff of smoke, only reappearing once Mario leaves the general area.

After the main story is completed, two Goombettes can be found in the Sand Kingdom at the same time, implying that she is not an individual character, but simply how a generic female Goomba looks. This is supported by the Japanese name, which is the generic description of "Girl Kuribō."
