Yuan-ti are a species of serpentine humanoids from the roleplaying game Dungeons_&_Dragons. They range in appearance from almost completely human to almost completely snake, which divides them into three castes:

• Yuan-ti purebloods closely resemble humans, but with some minor reptilian features, such as a forked tongue or patches of scales on their skin.
• Yuan-ti halfbloods, also called malisons, are a more even mix of human and snake. The most common forms are either a lamia or a human with the head of a serpent, but there are many possible variations.
• Yuan-ti abominations are the most serpentine of the yuan-ti, taking the form of nagas.
