morning wood
An involuntary full or partial erection when sleeping or waking up. Often used when a character is in bed, yawning, stretching, or just generally groggy. Morning wood is not due to arousal (at least most of the time); instead it is the body's blood pressure rising prior. People are often embarrassed by the situation.
