A cartoon style prevalent during the Silent Age of Animation between the mid 1920's and 1930's. Inkblot characters are commonly known for their simplistic design, inky black bodies, dot eyes, white faces and tubular limbs which ends in bulbus hands and feet. They are also well known for always wearing white gloves.

Famous names from the time period are Mickey Mouse, Popeye, Betty Boop and Felix the Cat.
The Warner siblings (Yakko, Wakko and Dot) from Animaniacs were also based on this style.
Recent examples of this style includes Bendy from Bendy and the Ink Machine and many characters from Cuphead.
