Smoking is the verb used to describe the practice in which a substance, such as tobacco or marijuana, is burned and the smoke is tasted or inhaled. This method is primarily used as a route of administration for recreational drug use, as combustion releases the active substances.

Note that this tag specifically describes situations where a character is smoking a substance by any means (cigar, kiseru, pipe...) and in any manner (mouth, nose...).
