DualShock is a series of video game controllers manufactured by Sony for the PlayStation brand of consoles. Its distinctive appearance consists of two convex analog sticks symmetrical to one another, a D-pad separated into four different buttons, and its iconic face buttons consisting of four different symbols (a circle, a square, a triangle, and a cross that appears as an X) instead of the traditional A, B, X, and Y buttons of its competitors.
