The Manakete are a race of humanoid dragons featured in the Fire Emblem series by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems.

These shape-shifting beings take up human form, but store their dragon energy inside a magical artifact known as a "dragonstone", which they can use to take their original form as feral dragons. Manaketes are frequently depicted as the survivors of a past genocide, though the details vary by continuity.

Manaketes are extremely long-lived, with lifespans measured in millennia. Their physical development is similarly slowed, such that even at 1000 years of age they have the physical appearance of children. The species is infamous for being populated almost entirely by loli characters who are technically adults.

The dragons in Three Houses and the dragon laguz in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are functionally identical to manaketes, though they do not require stones to transform.

Notable manaketes include Tiki (the original) and Nowi (the most infamous).
