Good news, everyone! After a little under six years on this site, I finally figured out how to NOT clog up space in the comments!

You've got me on the edge of my seat. 1 PM Central Time has been something my internal clock has revolved around for years by now, but now it's like I'm back in grade school and hoping I'll get another daily episode of my favorite TV show.

Although, of course, her original plan was to hurt Vanessa just to get revenge... although maybe this is like the 'villain of a badly told story' (I'm not saying the comic is bad, it's just the saying goes).

I would like to say that's, since a redemption arc for mandy is pratically impossible, i would like to see her backstory. And i think i'm not the only one who thinks that.

Plus: Can we congratulate Alex's body for taking a Psyshock from a Mega Gardevoir, with Ev in Special Attack (probably), and not turning into raw flesh?

That's very brave of Alex to protect Vanessa like that. Even though I believed she can probably take it as a Pokémon herself, she is more of a civilian than a Battle Pokémon, and Alex jumping in front of her like that shows how much he really cares for her.

Soon, it'll be her turn to protect him.

my theory is she did something stupid when she was together with Dylan (Val's boyfriend) either cheating or whatever and they broke up (tho Val says she didn't like her anyway maybe cause she had a bad feeling abou her but who knows) and then comes the texts and selfie from Val, tho if that is enough to snap her this hard then there was already something wrong with her to begin with

My thoughts on this....she used to do battles but her partner was an A-grade asshole.
Forcing her to use a megastone without meeting the trust and friendship needed for harmless use (Mega Evolution puts enormous strain on body and psyche)
made her just bit fucked up in the head.
Later had a boyfriend after settling down somewhat, though for whatever reason got abandoned again then learned later that Valerie got him.

I think that Mandy has really deep seated trust issues....I mean if you like Rookie why not just ask him?
But no....she needs to be in control and is willing to take it by force.....
I honestly hope that she can get over her problems....not because I forgive her for what she did and is doing but because it will not help her and only makes things worse for everyone.

I really and truly hope that she's not going to be easily forgiven after all this is over.

On another note, I sometimes feel like an alien here because in the previous page I couldn't feel aroused by Mandy at all, and her being "sexy" or "hot" didn't even cross my mind. Given her actions (sexual blackmail, and now physical assault entirely unprovoked), it's hard for me to see her in any kind of way that could "minimise" (for the lack of a better word) her actions

is probably a prelude for some backstory as some already have predicted in the comments, but even if it is, the victim here is still Rookie, given he took the hit directly and to a lesser extent Vanessa, Mandy making it about herself comes across as very narcissistic

one problem i see is that Mandy, Val and Dylan went to the same school according to Val or at least where close enough locationwise (and the Pokemon are aging like humans in this world and Pokemon battles being more akin to wrestling in ours).

Source on Megas is the Pokedex entries from USUM and the other 3DS titles......for example Salamence, according to the pokedex, becomes extremly violent due to the pain....too the point that it even attacks his trainer.....Aerodactyl has the same problem....it gets so stressed that it attacks anything that moves (that is a direct quote)

Where was it said that Mandy, Val and Dylan went to the same school?
Because I can't not remember any of that....have I missed a page......and where was it stated that pokemon battles are more like wrestling?

So, we get not only a part 3, PART 3, back to back, but it's a full-on comic!

I really want them to get their happy ending, but part of me can't wait to see what's coming, whatever it may be.

Alex already upgraded from "great boyfriend" for how he treated Vanessa to "hero" for how he handled Mandy; he better get upgraded to "husband" for this by the comic's end. But he's always been there for Vanessa when she needed him and she's done the same. Now more than ever, I can't help but wonder, what is Mandy's problem? She was already bad enough with the sextortion, let alone with one of her main motivations not just to get a good fucking but specifically to hurt Alex's loved ones as much as possible (which already makes her either an attempted rapist or at least on the same level in my book). Especially when it's well implied it's only been at most 24 hours since her and Alex's confrontation and she looked pretty freaked out when she knew she was in an unwinnable spot. Nothing she's done has been justifiable in any way, I just wonder what happened in her head to push herself to escalating this to going "final form" and attacking them in public and broad daylight.

I said before that I love both simple and complicated characters, and I wouldn't be the least bit unsatisfied if there's no more to Mandy than whatever we're shown in this comic and she's just a person whose "worst" keeps getting lower. I'm really trying not to overthink her and just taking whatever we get for what it is and enjoy it for what it is. I'm not sure redemption is possible, and definitely not necessary, at this point (but then, I've seen worse turn around...) and again, she's never done a single justifiable thing since we've seen her. But if not atonement, I'd still wonder at her past and what made her like this in the first place, like she maybe hinted at much earlier , either with her sextortion of Alex not being the first time she's done something like that or maybe she's been a victim herself. Now that she's said this, I wonder if she has, if only in her own mind.

Vanessa, you've got a hell of a keeper on your hands. I know they'll likely make it out okay, but if Rookie survives, you better hang onto him and never let go because you frankly can't find that kind of selflessness anywhere else.

Mandy's final comment does seem to hint at a potentially deeper story going on there, but hoo boy, she's definitely bringing the most menace the Partner series has EVER seen. I really do wonder how in the hell these two are gonna make it out of this... Let's hope someone will come in and be a hero or that Vanny's powers finally kick in; high-pressure situations seem to be a common trigger for superpowers in some series, after all.

The whole first part of the comment was about a potential trainer who traveled with Mandy but abused her in some way via improper use of her mega stone causing her to have physical or mental problems that affects her ability to have relationships

Seems she HAD a partner (possibly before Dylan even), and they up and ditched her, and it's left her with a profoundly warped view of everyone else. 1. Since you're obviously a multinational best selling author/writer, with numerous successful best works, on a site where artists can, on a daily and weekly basis, upload their SFW and NSFW works, is this artists works being considered for some type of literature award or competition? They're an artist who decided to tie some story and history to the art they put forward, or somebody writing the story for the artist, but I'm writing this under the impression, as you did, that the artist is the one writing. It's a comprehendible story and, while the writing is not perfect, it's at a point that most people can grasp the concept being presented. You expecting Shakespeare in your furry porn, kinda says a lot about your "logical opinion". Don't get me wrong, I'm technically defending said artist on a furry site, so I'm not much better either, but at least I know if I want to read a literary work, I'll go to anywhere other than here (unless there's a section for that, that I missed).
2. If you are not what I mentioned above (an author/writer), then you've gotta be looking for confrontation to answer the way you did. I mean, if I don't want to eat bad food, I won't eat bad food. But you come back because, in your opinion, the writing is bad, and must be talked about. So you're looking for validation in hating an artists writing? I'm just trying to understand your viewpoint.

I too check in constantly to keep up to date on this comic, Gamma has always made good stuff but the addition of full multi-arc stories has added a new layer of greatness.

Also, "Go go Gadget comment wall" got a really good chuckle out of me. Definitely adding that to my lexicon.
