The Weight of Scales Ch.2 p.3
Drake climbs out of Iris' car. He cracks his neck and groans from the stiffness of his muscles after sleeping in a car.
Iris prompts him to follow her down the sidewalk saying her home is just up the stairs ahead.
The two walk along for a moment. Drake coughs lightly from exertion. Then he stops in place.
His voice is filled with confusion as he tries to understand why he is being taken to Iris' home and not a doctor like she had said before.
Iris is hit hard with guilt and slowly turns to Drake. She stammers.
