It should have probably gone without saying. A tip from a stranger who claimed to know a seller of unregistered and highly illegal ship components deep in an off grid city, was probably a red flag.
But on the bright side, The ambushers weren't expecting someone in the know to show up. Less someone ballsy enough to steal the parts when things went south or have a souped up scrap bike to dart away on.
Still better to get out of town and fast before they get a chance to jump you.
I've had this piece sitting around for a year and was never happy with it. So i completely redid it from scratch. and honestly I'm glad i did.
