take a bunch of doodles and unfinished wips, throw em in a pot, add some broth, a potato. Baby you got a stew goin'~

1.) Catfolk and Diamond Dogs have been mortal enemies since the dawn of time, but Capper and Fido hit it off big one night at the Grand Galloping Gala. Capper, delighted to meet another individual who'd also attempted to enslave ponies for personal profit, playfully teased more and more stories of criminality and dubious ethics out of the shy, gentlemanly dog. They met up again after that night, forming a business partnership in the excavation and smuggling of rare gems....and maybe, just maybe learning that the true gem was right in front of them all along~

Jk. More realistically is that Capper really, really likes being showered with attention and adoration, and there's no one more willing to do that than a dog. Capper, charismatic playboy that he is, still finds himself surprised and flustered at Fido's more earnest, sweet gestures of affection, be it bringing Cap a bouquet of daisies, or stealing a necklace Capper mentioned liking. Capper calls him "Fifi"~

2.) "She was never yours, do you understand? Never, not for a moment. You've no right to call yourself her father, false prince. You wouldn't even know the meaning of the word."

Ol' Fancy Pants may seem mean here, but Blueblood kinda has a habit of trying to steal away Fancy’s family (first Fleur, then later Vogue). BB’s whole “woe is I for not being allowed to be with my child” thing is pretty insulting to Fancy, who (alongside Fleur) has put in the actual work of raising and loving Vogue. All Blueblood has done is spoil Vogue’s birthday with a truth they all promised to never hurt Vogue with, then lament that the child he sired doesn't automatically adore him. It’s easy to forget that in these stories, Blueblood is an unreliable narrator. While in his own view he’s the victim, from several other characters’ perspectives, Blueblood is very much a villain.

3.) This was in response to the question "What do you think Fancy Pant's cutie mark means?". You know, I always thought his mark was like three moneybags, I had a whole spiel ready about how messed up it is that apparently individuals are pre-destined to be wealthy in MLP. But his mark is actually three crowns. Huh. What does that mean?

So I thought Fancy Pants could be the creator of the illustrious Triple Crown, a prestigious annual series of horse races that determines the fastest horse in the world. So basically the Triple Crown races from our world, except the ponies talk. Fancy inherited a small derby from his grandfather and expanded it into a worldwide event, bringing him immense wealth and fame. This is how he met Fleur de Lis, the fastest runner in the south of Prance. He recruited her to run for him and their fast friendship evolved into a whirlwind romance. They're young, smug, and in love. I also like to think young Fancy was kiiiiind of a fuckboi. :>

4.) a while ago i was pondering how ponies would show that they're in a relationship/married (since horses wearing rings still feels kinda awkward to me). I planned to do a headcanon dump on various ways ponies across Equestria say "I'm taken!" (remember that doodle of Mr and Mrs Cake having matching ear tattoos? That doodle would've been a part of this). If one isn't inclined to get a permanent tattoo devoted to one's boo, one can always have a custom design shaved (or dyed) into their coat. It's cheaper than a tatt, and the fur will eventually grow back. Bruce has gotten a set of pegasus wings and a windstorm motif inspired by his blue beau, Aerostorm. It was Magnolia's idea and although Bruce is pretty unsure about it, he'll later be singing his bestie's praises. Hippie horse likey. A lot.
