The Witch of the Wilderness

If you go down to the woods tonight...

...the dark and shadow-filled woods tonight...

The air, cool and wet, might brush your cheek. Chill you right through your fur, fur that keeps getting snagged on brambles and branches. Roots might catch at your ankles, making you stumble, threatening to tumble you down into the dark, blank underbrush.

You might lose your way...

And you've been there so many times. So many times. The scents of that trail are so familiar to you. So how could you lose your way? With nothing but the thin moonlight reaching through the trees to guide you, that and the sparks...

The blue sparks...

...

If you do go down to the woods tonight...
And the darkness surrounds you...
While crackling magic has led you astray...
There need be no doubt in your mind.

A commission for the lovely Lakuta - who wanted to try her hand at being a witch. And well... some... kinda pun here about 'bewitching'. I'm sure y'all can come up with one.

Either way, I really enjoyed doing this one. I'm super pleased with how the penetration came out, and all that magic was really fun to play with (hey, DV likes playing with the 'Add (Glow)' layer effect, what else is new? :3). I've got the opportunity for a bunch more personal art in the near future, so I should look into doing more close-up penetration art~

In the meantime - well. I know y'all - so I know I need not say this, but as always...
