In the bright morning before anyone should ever be awake the dawn sun peeked through the foliage of the trees of a tucked away campsite. Family tradition dictated a vacation every so often and Ellie having gotten a fairly substantial promotion that year decided that it was time that the family get more acquainted with the great outdoors and as luck would have it her new promotion came with a slew of benefits. Her favorite being access to a luxury RV for a few weeks out of the year, something about employee wellness. In any case the mommaphant loaded up the large family into the highway legal hotel and off to the majestic forest of Yellowstone they went.
The brilliant glimmer of golden morning light that could only come from the depths of nature, uncluttered by civilization and founded deep within the tranquility of the forest, this light peeked through the drawn curtains at first… only to be flashed like an explosion upon the sleeping doggirl’s senses, her eyes sparked open dilated pupils, a dazed groan escaping the snoozing Sherri’s maw as she instantly covered herself with the protective pillow to block out the sun and its disturbance of her beauty sleep! “Gwheuhhhh.. Malllyyyyyy!” Sherri groaned and buried herself deep within the confines of her bedding knowing it could only be her big sister that would disturb her sleep with such cavalier excitement.
“But Sherri!” Mally purred excitedly as she leaned over the huddled doggirl that had burrowed herself underneath the weighted blanket. “It’s your birthday! We have to celebrate and do birthday things!” Mally turned to the side, flashing a bright toothy grin to her accomplice. “Right, Jess?”
