(Script and Story by Prince_Borgon)
The journey is joyful for those who know they are returning home after a long journey,
and the very anticipation of the moment when they can finally return to sleep in their own bed makes the crossing lighter.
Moreover, if the one traveling with you is also a good companion in adventure, the experience can only be positive.
Returning from yet another diplomatic agreement that has kept him away from Valmeridia for a few days, Prince Borgon is escorted by the trusty mercenary Thaneas.
The fox has proven to be an excellent bodyguard and a good interlocutor as always.
All around, spring envelops the forest in which the two are moving, making their sensitive noses reach the most varied smells.
At a certain point, light petals blown by the wind fall all around them, coloring the undergrowth in a pale pink. Cherry blossoms!
In a frenzy, the prince follows the direction of the wind and the swirl of petals, forcing Thaneas to follow him at a fast pace.
Near a stream, a pleasant panorama looms in front of the two:
where the river flows more quietly, close to a waterfall, several plants have decided to paint the forest with the warm colors of their flowers.
And, as the dragon expected, several cherry trees are already in bloom. It seems like a perfect place to take a break!
Holding Thaneas by the paw, Prince Borgon approaches the waterfall and begins to talk.
He tells the fox about the vegetation that surrounds them, and the various plants that flower all around.
Obviously a good part of them are medicinal herbs, and the flowers themselves can be useful for creating poultices and remedies against the most varied inconveniences.
As he speaks, the pink petals continue to fall all around, until suddenly one lands right on the fox's face.
The prince bends down and gently blows, making the tiny petal fly away.
He smiles at Thaneas and, murmuring something about spring, he touches their noses together.
They like are definitely ahead of schedule, and taking a break in such a quiet place certainly won't hurt them.
Just like they won't mind being without clothes on such a hot day.
The spring breeze caresses their bodies pleasantly, and the smells all around tickle their senses.
A short break, maybe a few hours, just to enjoy for a bit those cherry blossoms...
