Topic: [BUR] Collecting subtypes of furry_problems

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #11749 is pending approval.

create implication horn_problems (13) -> furry_problems (110)
create implication hydra_problems (179) -> furry_problems (110)
create implication knotting_problems (24) -> furry_problems (110)

Reason: These are all types of furry problems and should implicate it thus.

It might be worth creating an umbrella tag like anatomy_problems to include things like big_penis_problems as well.

I suspect that hyena_problems might be the name of the comic/set of art that's under that tag. It's all the same artist and aside from one image, there aren't really any hyena-anatomy problems.

I have problems with all of the tags.

  • 1) The problem with head_protrusion_problems is with the naming.
  • 2) The problem with hyena_problems is that it seems to be invalid or too niche.
    • There doesn't seem to be any furry_problems involved.
    • The only thing remotely suggestive is post #2493543, which involves a pseudo-penis misunderstanding. A pseudo-penis_problem tag would be too specific in this case with only one post.
  • 3) The problem with hydra_problems is with the naming and potential validity.
    • Naming was mostly in reference to post #1910438. If anything, it should be a meme tag.
    • The current wiki definition says that it is tagged for multi-headed characters in general, but the naming implies that it is exclusive to hydras.
    • Should probably be remade into a proper tag to describe having multiple distinct personalities. Not to be confused with split_personality, dual_persona, etc.
  • 4) The problem with knotting_problems is with the naming as well.
    • Knotting should only be used for when knots are inside characters. Since the tag also includes stuck_knot scenarios (i.e., stuck in objects), it should really just be called knot_problems.

many of these problems you are trying to implicate could run afoul with the furry problems tag, none of them are limited to anthros while furry problems is. The definition of hydra problems in fact could even be applied to conjoined humans which is most certainly not furry..

horn problems and knot problems can apply to humanoids that are not_furry

Ehh, I'm not sure I'd agree with that. The wiki description specifies anthros, but I don't think a humanoid with non-human features experiencing similar problems warrants a different tag.

As I said, hyena_problems should not be in either BURs and should instead be manually purged.

Done.

To be fair, the hydra in hydra_problems are mostly ferals, and that tag is currently being suggested to imply furry_problems.
The wiki should really be changed to include all furries, regardless of form.

ehh... I mean, furgonomics already applies to stuff designed for "not_furry" characters in the same way, so I'm not sure how much that matters.

this is honestly more a problem of the definition/name of not_furry more than it is a problem of the other tags.
