Texting doesn't need to be aliased to the singular form (text) because it would be a mess.

Yeah, I'm not saying that. I'm saying that texts should probably be disambiguated because there are at least two distinct common uses.

3(?) out of 35 posts has something to involve with mobile texting, and even then, they all have text in it and very likely refer to it

making it a disambiguation seems too counter-intuitive to me
