To allow further descriptiveness to works involving femboys, I propose two new tags to define whether a feminine male character is a top (penetrator) or bottom (penetratee).

Definition

- Refers to when a femboy is penetrating another character or object, or is depicted to desire to do so (eg. dreaming about it or explicitly stating so).
femboy_bottom - Refers to when a femboy is penetrated by another character or object, or is depicted to desire it (eg. dreaming about it or explicitly stating so).

The exact definition can, of course, be changed and even the tags can be renamed if you have better ideas.

Implications

Both tags simply imply femboy and male.

femboy covers male, andromorph, and maleherm FYI

Also, we have and are somewhat likely to keep dominant femboy as an "exception to the rule" due to the sheer amount of people that wanted it, but it doesn't seem to be getting much use
To actually collect votes you should make a related BUR so people can cast a vote without the need to make a reply

Do I need to put anything into the script? There doesn't seem to be anything for adding new tags.

EDIT: The bulk update request #11714 (forum #459482) has been rejected by @AverageButtLover.

If anything, these should be reversed. _top and _bottom are prone to misinterpretation for physical placement, while _penetrating and _penetrated are clearer.

This would be no different, since these tags are using top and bottom to mean penetrating and penetrated. The issue is with the concept, having tags for a femboy penetrating or being penetrated (since a femboy isn't a gender, like male_penetrating, etc), not the specific words penetrating vs top or penetrated vs bottom.

As it is, I'm somewhat amenable to having a femboy_penetrating tag if it means we can get rid of josou_seme and avoid the inevitable problems dominant_femboy has (that is, being used to mean femboy_penetrating without any domination, and the resulting tag wars from dominant_femboy being removed due to no domination and readded because a femboy is penetrating someone).

Looking at this again, I forgot to mention that in this context, _top and _bottom are used to describe more than just penetration, as per the original post.

Sometimes I just think it's just easier to nuke femboy lol, what a troublesome tag...

Not.. really? What of any of this has had to do with "the admins"? Tags are decided by the community more than any staff members
At most an admin has to pull the trigger on actually setting things in motion, but more than likely they will not approve something that has an overwhelming opposition

I'm referring to the notion that penetrating/penetrated tags only apply to form/gender, hence this debate

Yeah that's also not strictly up to admins, go back through the past discussions and you'll likely never see an admin parroting that, you'll see the community keeping up a precedent that has been set for years
