The tag implication #68509 lipsticking -> half-erect has been rejected.
Reason: Lipsticking is when a sheathed penis is partially exposed due to a partial erection. This could be a developing erection or settling one.

even if it was the other way around where half erect implied lipstick it wouldnt really work cause not every male on here has a sheath either

Honestly with that being the case, I think it makes more sense for half-erect to be aliased to partial_erection (or something that isn't purely 'half'), not the other way around like it currently is. What is the visual criteria for a half-hard erection, with how varying the sizes and shapes of dicks can be, especially without a sequence of images to show what the fully flaccid/erect states are?
There's a ton of lipsticking pics that aren't at 'halfway' but are tagged half-erect. It makes up about 1/4 of the posts (~420 with tag vs ~1400 without).
These are incorrectly tagged the way it currently is, but can show that these were either previously tagged with a partial/semi- tag or someone tried to add that and the alias took over.

Of course, whether this is to partial_erection or another tag is up for debate.
Alternatively, have the half_ tags implicate to a partial/semi- tag. But that would require a ton of cleanup.

Lipsticking (which is a terrible name) is no more a partial erection than a half-erection. Renaming half-erect to partial_erection doesn't change anything since it would be functionally the same, and "lipsticking" can happen with a full erection when the sheath isn't pulled back to expose the full penis.
