Topic: Tag implication: kirin_(mlp) -> my_little_pony

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

are there any features of kirin in My Little Pony that are visually distinct from the more classical depictions?

Is it an official species in the show/source material?

yes.

the only question is if the MLP kirins are visually distinct enough from true kirins to cause a need for a separate tag.

Most kirin_(mlp) posts also have the normal kirin tag
But kirin mlp near 2k results

I mean, to be fair, I wasn't the one who created and populated the tag. I only figured if someone added this, that it should have the appropriate implication as well.

Also, there appears to be another similar tag related to Kirin’s, except it's for the Monster Hunter game series. Check it out: kirin_(mh)

Probably a holdover from when mlp was controversial.

it dosn't look like it it started being used 6 years ago but it was only used a handful of times before it was cleaned out. after that it was dorment for several years, and as of now, the current population of the tag are edits from 2023 and later.

I don’t think it’ll work that way, since aliases and implications aren’t the same thing.

Yes
As in alias instead of imply
