some ideas for alias but im not sure how people would react would be alias heavy_machine_gun to machine_gun and light_machine_gun to machine_gun, (that why I did not imply those to machine guns)
will have a 2nd bur for aliases just so I don't break something

I think ak_platform should maybe be aliased to kalashnikov considering both wikis more or less say the same thing

ok so kalashnikov produces both the PKM and the Ak_platform but a pkm is not an ak_platform

Kalashnikov is the brand ak_platform is a subset of products
Kalashnikov also produces non ak_platforms

An implication is definitely the least that should be done then. Ak platform -> Kalash yadayada cuz that's the name of the inventor

Today I learned that unless we're talking about the 13th century Chinese literal hand_cannon (no idea why someone aliased it incorrectly to one word), hand cannon today (like in Destiny which is where most people learned that word for the first time) is just slang for high-caliber handguns; ranging from anything chambered in magnum rounds like .357 revolvers up to rifle sized rounds and the classic D.Eagle

So while the hand_cannon_(Destiny) is a fair tag to have, the other one should probably be destroyed

Rather than having ar-15 imply rifle directly, should it imply ar_platform to match the ak_platform tag? Since there are a lot of AR-platform weapons as well, m16, m4, etc.

Also, pretty sure create implication ar-10 (10) -> sniper_rifle (1664) is wrong. That's a battle rifle, not a sniper rifle.

Reason: Hand cannon is a slang term for everything except for the 13th century Chinese firearm. Handcannon is plain wrong, no idea where that came from.
Hand cannon in the Destiny games are fine, since that's the term for the weapon archetype. It also has other valid implications.
