The bulk update request #11416 is pending approval.

create alias melty_digestion (105) -> melt_digestion (0)
create alias melting_digestion (10) -> melt_digestion (0)
create alias gooey_digestion (26) -> melt_digestion (0)
create implication melt_digestion (0) -> digestion (17614)
create implication melt_digestion (0) -> melting_prey (0)
create implication melt_digestion (0) -> internal (80055)
create implication melting_prey (0) -> melting (3099)
create implication melting_prey (0) -> vore (81567)
create implication melting_pred (1) -> melting (3099)
create implication melting_pred (1) -> vore (81567)

Reason: Aliases related digestion tags away to melt_digestion.
The adjectives 'melty', 'melting', and 'gooey' describe the state of the prey, whereas the 'melt' verb describes what is happening with the digestion, keeping in line with tags like rapid_digestion, rising_tide_digestion, and smoothening_bulge_digestion imo.
Also adds implications for digestion, internal, and melting_prey.

This BUR also creates the tags melting_pred and melting_prey. I'm opting to keep the melting characters and melt digestion tags separate, since there's plenty of instances where melting prey/preds aren't being digested, mostly absorption vore and merging, (examples: post #361305, post #3407918)
Also adds implications for melting and vore to melting_prey and melting_pred

The latter two should imply digestion and not melting, because that's what's happening. And again I am also extremely against such an extreme fetish bleeding into innocent tags

Like I said, there are many instances where the melting of the character is not due to digestion, most cases of such being absorption vore of some kind.
Furthermore the predator character could be the one melting in absorption/merging cases, and as such that predator is not being digested. Hence the lack of that tag.
If there's further consensus that the digestion tag should be added anyways,

The melting tag applies because a character is, well, melting.

Applying proper tag implications and aliases doesn't 'corrupt' the tags which are subsequently applied as a result of it. It just allows for the applicable tags to be easily added, which aids in searching and blacklisting.

/gen /nm

So just melt_digestion then
And melting prey and melting pred
I've seen the clear precedent that people don't like when it's just mashing two tags together

And the bit about a contentious fetish suddenly showing up in innocent (i.e. non-fetish or even non-nsfw) tags is that there'll be a lot of people being exposed to something that they would really prefer to have never seen. They can't preemptively blacklist something they haven't seen or experienced before. Especially because (according to the help page) vore is not a default blacklist (it really should be tho)
