Typing in hickeys returns all results for hickey to me. That is intended alias behavior. The tags are not just merged together when adding them to a post, but the search terms are considered synonymous as well. If you are getting a separate list of results when searching those two terms, then yes, that would be a bug.

Edit: Despite being a partial duplicate of topic #47001, I still think that this alias is worth having due to multiple different users making the typo. I would argue that we should also add the aliases hicky_marks, hickey_mark, hickey_marks, hickie_mark, and hickie_marks for the full suite of spelling and pluralization varieties so nothing slips through the cracks.

I agree, even if people might say "This is preemptive and thus not in the spirit of e6."
