topic #31686 brought up the topic of redefining "forced" tags to mean lack of control rather than lack of consent, and creating a separate set of tags to denote lack of consent. The discussion petered out in that topic, but I'd like to forward the idea once more. This could be useful because the two scenarios are often conflated, especially in bondage scenarios, and involuntary scenarios are much easier to determine objectively (for TWYS) than consent.

To a degree we already have tags explicitly for lack of consent with the unwanted_* set of tags. forced_orgasm and involuntary_orgasm, as well as forced_to_penetrate and involuntary_penetration, are also divided between these lines. However, these tags tend to be poorly or vaguely defined.

You have to know that there are actually 3 similar categories, i.e., forced_*, unwanted_*, and accidental_*.
I don't think a general consensus have been made about these tags (see related topic #25498 & topic #45146), but they just exist for their own purposes.

The forced tags are typically associated with rape or other non-consensual activities, usually with a second character who has placed them in such a situation (though that is not always the case).
The accidental_* are typically associated with accidents, such as accidental_impregnation from a broken_condom, etc.
The unwanted_* tags could be forced, could also be "fetishised" (e.g., a sub cumming after being told not to by their dom master as they are actively teasing them), or it could also be "accidental"/"spontaneous" (e.g., trying to hide an unwanted_erection while in public; cumming into your partner while expecting you'd pull_out).

I think the accidental_* tags have pretty clear meanings and use cases in isolation. The issue is that they can also be synonymous with "unwanted".

Maybe we should cut the knot and make a new nonconsensual_* set, with unwanted_* tags moved to either "nonconsensual" or "accidental" as appropriate?

Suggesting to renaming forced_* to nonconsensual_* without really good justification will be a hard sell, I won't stop you from trying though.
As for unwanted_*, it is not purely forced_* or accidental_* though they can overlap. You also did not address the "fetishised" component, such as post #716140 for unwanted_cumshot.
