The tag "hidden_bondage" is currently aliased to "bondage". I'm not sure why, since there's no posts about it. There's a good deal of art on here where bondage is explicitly depicted as being hidden under clothing. Currently, there is no other way to search for that scenario using tag filters.

So, it should probably be called hidden_bondage_gear or bondage_gear_under_clothing? I'm not sure which name is better. We sort of have a similar naming issue with sex_toy_under_clothing vs. hidden_vibrator/hidden_sex_toy.

If anything, hidden_bondage should implicate bondage, not be aliased to.

Reason: Hidden_bondage is a form of bondage, and as such should be an implication, not an alias.

and the like don't sound like good tag names to me, since being hidden implies not seeing it, thus not TWYS. I could see people tagging it because of TWYK. The concept of something being partially obscured, visible from certain angles or seeing through objects/clothing, would probably be better called stealth, e.g. stealth_sex or stealth_masturbation. stealth_vibrator, stealth_bondage, etc, I think would work better than hidden_vibrator, hidden_bondage, etc.

I'm fine with that just for consistency's sake, sure. Stealth makes more sense here than hidden.

I don't particularly care about the name, but it makes sense to remove the alias. I imagine that whether or not it should even imply bondage is probably debatable since 'gear under clothing' might not be being worn in a way that'd qualify for 'bondage'.

Ok, but what's the best way to do this? It feels like a bit of a headache. We'd first need a first BUR of

Actually, decided to look back in the forums a bit - It looks like the last time this came up (topic #37108), the prevailing agreement was that hidden_ was more intuitive for objects and stealth_ was more intuitive for actions. I'm not sure if that's still the vibe, given that that was a few years ago, but it'd still point to aliasing hidden_bondage -> stealth_bondage (as an act) OR hidden_bondage -> hidden_bondage_gear (as an object). I think the first one makes more sense.

As for the toy conversation, I personally agree that stealth_ makes more sense as TWYS than hidden_, but we should imply hidden_vibrator to either hidden_sex_toy or stealth_sex_toy, since right now it only throws vibrator. It might make sense to preemptively hit the other types of sex toys too, but I'm not sure about that. Generally, sex_toy_under_clothing might be getting used to mean hidden_sex_toy, which might justify making an alias/implication between the two (though I'm not sure about that, and I'm not sure about which direction. It could just mean a manual project of going through each and tagging the other when applicable.).

Either way, any BUR would have to wait for the hidden_bondage alias update and you'd also need

remove alias stealth_sex_toy -> hidden_sex_toy
