The tag alias #76265 tail_anus -> tail_base_anus is pending approval.

Reason: It's a good tag, but the name sounds like a literal_tailhole (also not a great name) instead of 'where normal animals have their tails.'

The tag also seems heavily misused for anuses that are positioned normally on ferals, where it's still clearly between the butt cheeks and barely brushing near (let alone on) the tail base.

That's something that is a defined edge-case in the wiki. I personally don't have an issue with 'touching the tail base' cases being included, but they definitely don't fit the image 'tail_anus' gives. Frankly I don't even think accurate horse buttholes fit it, but they're intended to be covered by the tag.

I'm fine with the tag name change. I took it over because I just wanted an umbrella tag for characters with a mostly realistic anus placement rather than an obvious human-modeled halfway-around-the-world butthole, since that makes no sense on anything with a tail. (to me, anyway)

And if it seems like applying it to ferals is overkill, then I'm ok with culling that down too I suppose.

Thing is, I could see the tag being useful for things like this:

Having a separate tag for an actual tail_anus after this one is renamed to tail_base_anus would be a good idea. In retrospect I probably should've just made a new tag to begin with, because I think the tail_anus tag author originally intended it the way you described. But folks started tagging it at the base of the tail and I kinda just took it from there.

I'd be down for helping to re-tag everything though.
