Topic: good_clean_married_sex removal

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #10948 is pending approval.

create alias good_clean_married_sex (376) -> sex (1082666)
create alias loving_sex (350) -> sex (1082666)
create alias husband_penetrating_wife (721) -> penetration (893903)

Reason: made this as a bur instead of an alias request so that i can change it easily depending on thoughts. but there's no way that "good clean married sex" is a tag we need to maintain. married couple + sex should suffice.

for now aliasing to invalid tag since I Just don't know what would be the best tag to alias to. (married_couple? sex? romantic_couple?) so input would be highly appreciated. seems to be a one person tagging project.

also any thoughts on husband_penetrating_wife ? another tagging project seemingly by the same user

Privileged

Aliasing to sex would probably be best. There isn't always clear indication the characters are married, and it's not always a romantic pairing (romantic_couple is supposed to be for when a couple is acting romantic with each other, not simply be a couple in lore). sex seems to apply much more often.

would there be any trouble with aliasing husband_penetrating_wife to just husband_and_wife (or husband_and_wife_(lore), if the loreification ever goes through)?

i just put it like that in case, but i can do husband_and_wife if that seems like the best approach, im just worried some of these might not be visibly distinct as actual married couples and since it isn't a lore tag (yet, fingers corssed it will be soon enough) i wasn't sure

If the married couple gets a divorce or exists in a multi-timeline series where they sometimes aren't married what is the protocol lol
I'm nooticing a decent number of these are actually divorcees or popularly shipped but not actually married, seems like its mostly a shipping validation thing rather than an actually useful tag

a change in a characters' marital status wouldn't change the tags of the image itself, tags are supposed to be what the characters are in the in the post itself, if it's set before the characters were married or after they got a divorce or in a universe where they weren't married, then the tag wouldn't apply. and lore would still account for this.

Updated

I would argue for a mass update on these rather than aliases. Just because autocomplete doesn't need to be more fucked.

I can switch them to an update , but a staff member might have to message or warn the user about not continuing to tag these in the future so that we don’t have to continuously clean them up.
