There are a couple of posts under masturbation_encouragement that are encouraging another character, not the viewer. If there's another tag for it between two characters, I'd be on board.
This alias likely makes sense, but I'm a bit conflicted. How does masturbation_request fit into all of this?
There is masturbation_encouragement that's just a simple masturbation_request:
post #3935218 "Jerk it for me. I know you want to"
And then there's masturbation_encouragement with more specific "instructions", making the term "jerk off instructions" feel more appropriate:
post #4487709 "Ruin for puppy! Let it all go! Arf! Thank you NOW KEEP PUMPING!>:3"
But I suppose even the first one is still "instructions" of sorts. Perhaps there's no meaningful distinction to be made here? At any rate, should masturbation_request imply masturbation_encouragement, be aliased to masturbation_encouragement, or neither?
EDIT: Also, what I'veSeenSoMuch said. I did not refresh the page in the last 24 minutes and did not see that.

Personally I would still consider that jerk-off instruction.

Part of me wants to merge them all into a single tag, since none of them are particularly populated and they're very closely related. I hesitate mainly because it's possible one or more of them would get more popular in the future.

That first one doesn't even count, it's asking for another character to give them a handjob, which isn't masturbation. There seems to be a few uses like that, where it's asking for or demanding sex, not masturbation.

And there are some that are ambiguous.

"pumping" can also refer to thrusting and penetration, not masturbation, and her position makes it seem like she could be riding someone.
This is why the meaning of text/dialog is generally kept out of TWYS, it's possible for different people to read things differently and be open to interpretation.
