The bulk update request #10932 is pending approval.

remove implication caracal_(genus) (2769) -> feline (474800)
remove implication caracal (2690) -> caracal_(genus) (2769)
remove implication african_golden_cat (79) -> caracal_(genus) (2769)

In my opinion the majority of genus level spectags are useless bloat. This is one of the worst ones, as it sits above caracal in the autocomplete.

I sincerely doubt that anyone is using this tag to search for caracal + african_golden_cat.

Followup:

imply caracal -> feline
imply african_golden_cat -> feline

The caracal_(genus) tag should just be nuked, as aliasing it to feline would delete the purpose of this.

why can't we use the 'nuke' command in BURs?

Only admins can use the nuke command, likely to prevent quietly slipping it into an otherwise innocuous BUR unnoticed

I mean you can do all sorts of shady stuff without a nuke, like mass update into hi_res
