In case you, like me, wonder just what character or anime is named Dragunov, it's neither. It's actually a Soviet-era semi-automatic sniper rifle. Dragunov was the surname of the developer, Yevgeny Dragunov. The SVU is a semi-automatic, later fully automatic, bullpup rifle developed by the Russians.
However, in a sense, calling it the Dragunov SVD (snayperskaya vintovka Dragunova, literally "Dragunov sniper rifle") is like tagging atm_machine.
Regardless, its a designation only gun nerds would appreciate, but there seems to be an interest for tagging it.
