Why did you guys decide to merge tags into useless grouping,its so convoluted and bad that you cant find something you are looking for because someone thought the tag is the same action or it implies the same thing.

For example ball slap,if i write that i want to find balls getting slapped not find the ball slapping sound.

This is extremely idiotic and poor thought process to streamline tags like that,nobody likes it

I don't see how this is an "us" problem, honestly. this is the nature of the language, occasionally, two inherently desperate ideas get combined because they use the same words. this was going to happen no matter if there were tags aliased together or not.

that being said, this tag does need to be split, because we even have contradictory implications.

Because things are sometimes aliased together into a group without much discussion, due to their similarity with other tags that were already discussed upon. To keep things consistent, as you will see.

When we encounter problems such as this, we would typically ask in the forums if there is another suitable tag or to undo all the grouping altogether.

They were grouped/aliased together as part of BUR #1120 on topic #30235, alongside similar tags.

Most aliases are done through voting and discussion, after which it would be approved by an admin and implemented site wide.
If you want to learn our thought process, participate in the forums more often when tag alias/implication/BUR discussions take place, especially for tags you care for.

In this case, since you "missed out" on discussions that aliased your desired tags away, you can request for a bulk tag update to unalias the tags that you feel should be separated.
Then, we could be able to have a second discussion on the viability of your request.

Seems like one of DDM's mass BURs. Though yeah OP has a valid point (though they could phrase it better). The general trend is that *_slap tags are for the * being slapped, but for balls and penis it's the body part doing the slapping.

Someone did try to remedy this issue (at least for balls) by giving it a new name that sets it a bit apart from the slap family: see topic #46907

Complains about it the forums instead of using the correct forum to find the tag they're looking for.

The world doesn't revolve around you; just because you haven't taken the time to understand the site doesn't mean everyone else agrees with you.
