I would say imprisoned requires there to be a dedicated structure that is intended to confine an individual.

Confined is similar, but could occur in areas not specifically intended to do so. (locked in an ordinary room, stuck in an open cave after a collapse, etc.)

Trapped is when an individual is stuck and cannot leave. They need not be confined. (It is possible to be pinned or tied up in an open field, for example.)

Also I'd flip the alias. Imprisonment -> Imprisoned
