I didn't. :o

It feels like trapped has a layer of unwillingness, and is something that happens to a character; whereas confined feels more like a voluntary action. If one's a subset, it could be made into an implication, but I'm not sure which term would imply the other.

While trapped has a more forceful connotation, being confined still has implications that it may not be entirely voluntary. And I would assume confined would be (physically) enclosed in on all sides whilst trapped doesn't necessarily have to be
