Reason: Some notable Metroid species being implied their proper, broader tags.

It might be worth making a metroid larva tag for the most iconic Metroid form, for easier search purposes, but the other metroids are much less prevalent image-wise.

In the other thread, for the Zebesians, there's confusion about what differentiates Zebesians from other Space Pirates, but if you're familiar with the games you know that Zebesian is used for a very specific morphology; yes, Ridley is also called a Zebesian, but the standard enemies are how they are generally presented and defined. Of course, the Space Pirates are made up of many different species, so if any tag's existence is in question, it should be that one (but otherwise we wouldn't have a tag for the pirates on Tallon IV or Urtraghus).

Updated

are zebesians actually biologically related to the space pirate species that shows up in Prime? I was more under the impression that they were another species that joined the space pirate faction.

There is potentially no individual Space Pirate species; it's a broad category for all the depictions of the standard enemies, which are ambiguously presented as potentially the same species or all distinct. The Zebesians are as much a Space Pirate as any other. The Prime ones certainly aren't the true Space Pirate species, and the tag isn't for them specifically.

I'm pretty sure the ones in the Prime series are just called "space pirates" like, that's their species. both in their own logs throughout the game and by scans performed on individuals by the power suit's scan visor.

The same is true for all the Space Pirate enemies; they're all just called Space Pirates. Zebesian is only a specification - and not even their original name, they're just the colonists of Zebes. The Space Pirates in Prime 1 are also clearly different from the Pirates in Prime 2 and 3.
