Other [color]_[species] tags in the past have all aliased to the species rather than the color, ex. black_fox, blue_fox, brown_fox

I'm fine with prioritizing the body color over the species, personally. A lot of species will just naturally look like each other.

Methodology/Notes

• I'd think users are more likely to remember body colors rather than species when it comes to this kind of art, and colors are a smaller category to begin with. We don't have crimson_scales or scarlet_fur, for instance, but we do have tibetan_sand_fox, ezo_red_fox, etc.
• If something like green_fox returns a bunch of green characters and the user isn't happy about it, the next step is to add fox to the query. I think this is probably going to be a lot easier to grasp than adding green_body, green_fur, green_hair, etc., especially since using green_body instead allows us to include characters with non-fur body coverings: scales, slime, etc.
• green basilisk, red fox, red panda, brown bear, black bear, etc. remain where they are: these are species names, not assessments of the character's color; A red fox is a red fox even if they're black due to melanism.
• there are some terms like "yellow labrador" which are assessments of coat color, but at the same time they're broader than typical usage: while an obsidian-colored labrador is a black labrador (makes sense to me!), a fox-colored labrador is a yellow labrador. At the same time, somebody searching for such a character would probably have better luck with orange_body labrador.
• red oni, blue oni remain where they are because the color is basically a property of their species: red oni are supposed to be hotheads, blue oni are supposed to be more cool. Also, nobody's tried to establish anything like green_oni or yellow_oni yet.
• black_dog gets a pass for similar reasons to the oni.
• black human, white human, etc. can probably remain where they are. It would be really weird to try and conflate colors with races.

To this point, wouldn't aliasing yellow_labrador to yellow_body maybe not be a good idea?

If people generally disagree then I'm not going to dwell on it, but I think keeping the broader use of yellow (as in, things that are actually yellow, and not just the category of Labrador coat colors) is appropriate. Most people aren't going to be coming in with specialist knowledge like "oh, orange counts as yellow." Lilac is a coat color that's recognized in cats, for instance, but cats don't exactly come in purple.
It maintains consistency with the other conversions in this BUR, and a note can be made to this effect on the wiki:

In the real world, labrador retriever coats are typically placed in three categories: black, chocolate, and yellow. Of these, the "yellow" category is particularly broad, including orange and off-white colorations.

I would like to think that the three coats of Labradors could be exceptions to the rule because it's common speak that people refer to labs as color + Labrador

I completely disagree. People talk about black cats being unlucky, orange cats being dumb, etc., so this is by no means unique to labs, and black_labrador turning into black_body means that people making relevant search queries can just add labrador if the results aren't to their liking, but black_fur, black_feathers, black_body, etc. require a bit more of a leap in logic; we have a species category so it stands to reason that we'll probably have tags like labrador on their own, but there isn't nearly as much to clue people into the existence of black_body and similar.
