The bulk update request #10443 is pending approval.
create alias ping_koon (260) -> eisuke_art (6)
create alias eisuke_fur (0) -> eisuke_art (6)
Reason: artist changed name at the least about a year ago - for example post #1986452 first source redirects to from @ping_koon to @eisuke_art on x/twitter
eisuke_fur -> eisuke_art is to avoid confusion in the future as the artist sometimes uploads on other accounts (for example post #5360759)

Actually, if you're going to alias a tag over to another, you don't need to update it first, so you don't need that first line.
It looks like post #2504041 isn't a good example of the source redirect. However, other posts, such as post #1986452, post #1986452, or post #2504032, do redirect.

ah i see. so aliasing would automatically update the posts in this case? sorry if i misunderstood. i updated the example as well!

That's correct. Updates move one tag to the other only once. Aliases move them over all the time.
