Topic: Prey POV discoverability aliases

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #10351 is pending approval.

create alias in_mouth_pov (0) -> prey_pov (1074)
create alias view_in_mouth (0) -> prey_pov (1074)
create alias viewer_in_mouth (0) -> prey_pov (1074)
create alias viewer_vore (0) -> prey_pov (1074)
create alias vore_pov (1) -> prey_pov (1074)

Reason: I forgot what the name of the prey pov tag was and had trouble finding it. I tried these names in my failed attempts. I suggest aliasing these for improved discoverability.

*_pov

tags are generally for first_person_view, which depends on the viewing character being visible (arms from the sides of the image, a snout on the bottom, etc). viewer_ tags are for general (possibly non-POV) viewpoints. view_* seems like it could be for viewer_* or *_focus.

How would you classify post #5340810 then? Is it prey_pov or do we need a different tag because the viewer doesn't have any arms showing and therefore isn't a visible character?

Something like voring_viewer or vore_view I think would be best. The separation between first_person_view/*_pov tags from general *_viewer tags is pretty sharp. Even in cases where the viewer is treated as if they're a character, like looking_at_viewer, talking_to_viewer, pointing_at_viewer, etc, it's not treated as a first_person_view unless something of the viewing character can be seen.
