The tag implication #66386 average_penis -> penis is pending approval.

Reason: Wiki says: "Images where a penis is shown..."

Should be an alias, IMO. What constitutes "average" will be vague (average for porn, average for real-life? average for the species, average for humans?) and subjective. The big_penis and small_penis tags have some leeway in when they could apply, but the introduction of an average_penis tag that fits in between would basically require every penis be tagged as small, average, or big, but it's not clear enough in artwork where the line is; it creates too much specificity for something that's not that specific.

Genuinely curious and unsure, was this thumbed down because of dislike for the tag "average penis", or because I suggested the implication at all?

I don't have any strong feelings about the tag "average penis" one way or the other, I just saw it had nearly a thousand posts and wasn't implicated to "penis".

Pretty sure it's because most of us think it should be an alias instead.

I think 'average' and 'medium' are a touch too subjective. It's also prone to being impacted by style (muscle art in particular can make penis size look smaller than it is) and other present characters. It also is getting tagged on stuff where size relative to the owner isn't discernable.
