Hm, I hadn't considered that. However, without context morning wood is indistinguishable from arousal, and as you say, most posts don't seem to make a distinction. Checking morning_wood+unwanted_erection returns only 22 results, some of which don't appear to be morning wood at all, or are ambiguous without context. Of the remainder, I think only these 7 posts clearly avoid conflating morning wood with arousal (and of those, two rely on the description to avoid ambiguity):
