A shower_room is a public area with multiple showers, which occasionally may be implied by falling water.

Seems like a useful tag to me.

The concept isn't useless, but the use of it is messy. Even that image given as an example shows no indication that it's public or has multiple showers, as opposed to a single shower with two shower heads.

The bulk update request #10048 is pending approval.

there's also public shower, which looks to be the same concept

Actually, that seems like a better name than shower_room. I still don't like removing the tag entirely because some people are bad at tagging, but maybe we should nuke shower_room and use public_shower instead.

----------------
BUR reason: A Communal_shower is a type of public_shower. A shower stall is public--otherwise it would just be a private bathroom instead. A public shower is public by definition. If the picture depicts enough context to indicate it's located in a public_shower area, then there must be a shower, I think.

I'm not sure we should imply it to public though, no other public location (public_transportation, for example) implies it.

Alright, I'll remove shower_stall -> public and public_shower -> public. Whether any locations should imply public could be a whole separate thread someday.

also, many public locations are only public in certain situations. you could reasonably have characters in a location that's meant to be used by the public normally be there in a situation when it's not. janitorial staff in a school while it's closed, characters trespassing in an abandoned amusement_park, investigators in a public_restroom that's a crime scene.
