technically "lemniscate" is the geometric term for the "figure-8" in general and is not totally synonymous with the infinity symbol since the infinity symbol requires a specific orientation to be recognized as such. so like, the infinity symbol is a lemniscate but not all lemniscates are infinity symbols.

also, it'd be best to avoid using obscure words that no one knows as tag names for no real reason. tag names should be understandable at a glance to as many users as possible when possible.
