Reason: "Nessie" is just a popular name for the Loch Ness Monster. It has shown up in multiple different works of fiction under the same name, each time with a different design. Some people also design their own "Nessie" characters based on the legend. Then there are those who just use the tag as a synonym for the legend.

I think it would be simplest if the generic Nessies were aliased away, and if anyone wants to establish yet another character called Nessie they can suffix it like they should have been doing in the first place.
