Other than this obviously being requested by the artist in question ( :p ), the FA has "catpup" in the Artist description thing up top and also the catpupcat Twitter links to the catpixonline Carrd.

Just saying you'd like your artist tag linked to your account, and linking us your account, is enough for that.

As an aside, if a verified artist made an alias request for their artist tag, would that be enough proof for approval without confirming links?

Could be fine in some cases, but the artist is only going to be verified for one of the tags so some caution will still be required to make sure they're not merging unrelated artist tags together.
