I am questioning my own vote now, looking at this again... aren't yoshis considered a species. Isn't this as if we had body color implications for wolf, horse, cat, dog, etc?

I'm not a huge fan of this either, but I was outvoted.
The justification was that "the concept of different colours is built into the species, which is why they function in a similar way to characters or individuals".
