Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: afterglow -> after_sex

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #44093 afterglow -> after_sex has been rejected.

Reason: Afterglow says "images depicting characters who just finished having sex and looking pleasured from it," and usage seems to reflect that

EDIT: The tag implication afterglow -> after_sex (forum #333011) has been rejected by @Cloudpie.

A random definition I found on the Internet says

Afterglow can be defined as a blissful period of mental and physical relaxation after orgasm during which a person enjoys the rush of endorphins produced by sexual climax. As a result of the increased flow of blood, people may physically appear to glow, with flushed cheeks and skin.

Most definitions seem to revolve around sex, but many also seem to include orgasms of any kind. The wiki needs to be updated imo

Whoops, you're right. I've edited the wiki to include masturbation. Is there a way to cancel my implication request?

If it was a BUR you could, but not a normal request like this, no. A moderator has to do it.

that feels like an oversight tbh, not sure why you can cancel a BUR but not a normal request...

It's not so much an oversight as just the continued evolution of the site's programming. Alias and implication requests were programmed in over a decade ago while the ability to make BURs was only implemented within the last couple of years with the recent revamp of the site.
