Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

the correct tag -seraphim- can't be aliased due to the e621 format, but if there's a way to make this work it would allow people to bypass the tag conflict caused by this artist's username It ought to be done (Mods: feel free to delete this if this is impossible)

In any case, their old -Seraphim- redirects to their current FA, Seraphim_Ka, which avoids disambiguation issues and the old e621 formatting problem. Even their Darsy_Karaseva Twitter/X uses Seraphim Ka as the display name. Here on e621, they're SeraphimKa, a self-uploading artist (who probably ought to be verified at some point) using the artist tag seraphimka_(artist). It's probably easiest to just move the posts over to seraphimka_(artist) manually.

Since they're a DNP artist, I'd say to leave it alone (although the tag really ought to be in the artist category). It's still useful to have the tag just in case something is posted by them when it shouldn't be.

Huh NMNY already changed it by the time you said that. Surprised it got locked to general with 0 posts, i don't recall deleted posts contributing (well i must've remembered wrong, they seem to apply to everything else)
