Topic: Tag Implication: brown_border -> border

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

blue_border seems strangely popular... *goes investigating* Ah, as I suspected all by same artist :P

Just brining the question up: Is it really that interesting to apply colors to borders? For the record I'm pretty neutral about it.

Edit: And of course i forget the thing I was supposed to reply; ornate_border could possibly get the same treatment, objections?

So I'm not the only one tagging borders... White_border and black_border seem to be used the most. I don't know how useful it is to make other border colors imply border, but we might as well.

After I posted this, I started thinking about it some more, and I'm now inclined towards not thinking it's worth tagging for colored borders (unless there's some admin tool that tracks how often tags are used as search arguments). I won't lose any sleep over them continuing to be allowed, mind you.

But yeah, I've been tagging borders for a long while now, at least with the generic tag if not color-specific ones.

Egh, functionally? Noone is going to be looking for borders.

"You know what I need right now? An image that has a cerulean border. Definitely."

Considering background themes have tags by color as well i d think it only be consistent to also include borders. Just saying...

The reason why certain tags exist is for details that can be recalled if a user is looking for a specific post they forgot about.
If you can't remember much, but you do remember that the post had a black border, that tiny piece of information can lead back to the missing post, or at least diminish the search results by a lot.

bump...

+1 as well as implicating all the other standardized colors.

blue_border 81
brown_border 26
green_border 15
grey_border 43
orange_border 4
pink_border 96
purple_border 33
yellow_border 3

All of them tagged for different artists and consistent for the most part and considering red is implicated with only 54 posts, being rarely tagged is not an excuse for not implicating, it certainly hurts no one while making it easyer to find the rarities.
