The mount tag has around 220 entries now, used for different reasons. Usually it's used to mean mounting, which is the sexual act, but it's also used for when a character is riding a horse for example. Sometimes it's used when there's a feral animal with a saddle and such.
What should be done with this tag? Aliasing it to mounting would create issues because of the two different definitions.

Disambiguation, maybe?
Mounting tends to be mistagged a lot in general (and I think it'd work better if changed into a *_position tag). Adding more mistags to it would not be a good idea.

mount/rider_relations - for sexy stuff going on between beings who ride and being who are ridden.
riding - used ... mostly.. for one character riding on another's back.
rider - not used much, but, well it's an eclectic collection of 19 or so images.
perching_position - a sex position
perched - for stuff like birds riding around on people's shoulders. To be honest, I'm not precisely sure how this is intended to be different than riding. That and for birds sitting on branches and.. this is actually a REALLY messy tag.
disambiguate isn't a terrible idea. I just want there to be a tag for 'character is probably going to be ridden around like a horse.'

I've had to clean the riding tag frequently. Though it's not as bad as it used to be, before the wiki.
There's also the issue with doggystyle and mounting overlap..
